Fellowship- Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Clinic of Alabama, PC

Adult Joint Reconstruction & Sports Medicine Fellowship:

The goal of this fellowship is to provide you as a fellow physician with a well-rounded surgical, clinical and research experience involving all aspects of adult reconstructive surgery and general sports medicine. You will be exposed to over 1000 surgical cases per year focusing primarily on: total joint surgery of the lower and upper extremity. Although the major focus of the fellowship is on primary and revision joint replacement surgery, you will also learn efficient clinical skills following the OrthoP.A.C.E. Clinical Management system and will work in an EMR paperless digital system. E-Clinical software with MedView digital x-ray and PDA interfaces allow for increased efficiency and better understanding of the patient record. You will also be exposed to the financial, business, and management aspects of operating a orthopaedic practice. The environment allows for you to work as an associate in the practice, preparing you to be a partner in a larger multi-specialty practice or work independently in your own clinical office setting.

Duration: 1 year ( August 1 to July 31 ) Call regarding availability

Stipend: $ 60,000 / year plus benefits (3 weeks vacation with support of national and local meetings)
