John P. Young, MD. M.D., F.R.A.C.S(Orth). Orthopaedic Surgeon-

Dr. John Young graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1990. He continued his education with a Medical Degree from the University of Arkansas in 1994. He did a General Surgery Internship at the Department of Surgery in Jackson Mississippi from 1994 through 1995 and Completed the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency program at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Jackson in 1999. He completed Fellowship training in 2000 at the American Sports Medicine Institute and HealthSouth Medical Center here in Birmingham, Alabama. He has practiced locally since 2000. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. We are pleased to have Dr. Young as a member of our team of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
