Dr. Joseph Sherrill is a third generation Birmingham Orthopaedist. His education includes
a B.S. Degree from the University of Alabama in 1973 and a M.D. Degree from the University
of Alabama, Birmingham in 1975. He completed his orthopaedic residency and hand fellowship training at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and has practiced locally since 1980.

He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and hand surgery. His practice includes adult reconstructive surgery, arthroscopy, total joint replacement of the upper and lower
extremities, as well as sports medicine, trauma, and surgery of the hand.
